Thin Spaces

For nearly ten years, I've kept travel journals. Stories and drawings made in the spaces between destinations, always with a camera in hand.

It's how I give deeper personal meaning to what I'm creating.

This book is the first time these photographs, drawings, and stories are being shared as a single body of work - exactly as they were meant to be experienced.

I have been using the Violet presets for a little over a year now, and they are everything I ever hoped they would be. I have always admired the color density and depth in Emmett's images, and these presets are huge in getting close to replicating that look. I find myself doing very minor adjustments to dial in my edits, since the presets do most of the heavy lifting.
